1. Who runs the service's data?

The “Al-Marji / Al-Marji” platform is operated by SHOULAT AL AMAL HANDICRAFTS - L.L.C - S.P.C — Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

For privacy or data enquiries: support@almarji.ai

2. The data we process

Depending on how the Client uses the service, we may process:

  • Account and contact data.
  • The professional profile, such as name, specialism, audience, style, dialect and content preferences.
  • Images and identity assets the Client uploads.
  • Consents and their records.
  • The Telegram chat identifier where the service is linked to it.
  • Scripts, audio, videos, jobs and the resulting content.
  • The record of reviews, edits and approvals.
  • Plan, subscription and billing data.
  • Support correspondence.
  • Technical and security data necessary to run and protect the site.

Al-Marji does not store full card details; these are handled through the payment provider.

3. Why we use this data

We use the data to the extent necessary to:

  • Create and operate the account.
  • Perform the subscription and provide the service.
  • Tailor content according to the Client's settings.
  • Produce scripts, audio, images and videos.
  • Carry out the approval and delivery processes.
  • Manage the subscription and billing.
  • Provide support and handle complaints.
  • Protect the account and the Platform and prevent misuse.
  • Meet regulatory requirements.
  • Document transactions and consents.
  • Protect rights and deal with disputes or claims.

Depending on the type of data and the purpose, processing relies on performance of the contractual relationship, on consent where that is required, on regulatory obligations, or on other legally permitted bases.

4. Image, likeness and voice

Where the Client chooses a style that needs their image, the image is used to create the agreed visual identity after obtaining the required consent.

Where a feature relying on voice cloning is available, it is used only after separate, express consent.

When consent is withdrawn, all new use of the image, and of any visual identity derived from it, stops immediately, and the image and the assets derived from it are deleted from the active storage we control without undue delay. This does not affect processing lawfully carried out before the withdrawal; copies may remain in backups until they expire under the applicable retention schedules, without being used for any new processing; and data that must be retained for legal or evidentiary purposes is kept.

5. Service providers and processing

The minimum necessary data may be processed through the providers the service relies on, including:

6. Processing outside the United Arab Emirates

Some service providers may use processing centres or systems located outside the United Arab Emirates.

Transfers or processing of data outside the country take place in accordance with the applicable requirements and safeguards, and only to the extent necessary to provide the service.

Using an external provider does not affect the rights granted to the data subject by law.

7. Data protection

The Platform uses technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the service and the data, including access controls, private storage and short-lived signed links where applicable.

Like any online service, no absolute guarantee against a security incident is possible; the Platform works to prevent and respond to risks according to their nature.

8. Retention period

Data is retained for as long as necessary to operate the account and provide the service, or to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected.

Once the data is no longer needed it is deleted or de-identified where appropriate, unless retention is required or permitted for purposes such as billing, tax, documenting transactions and consents, handling disputes, or protecting rights.

9. Data subject rights

The Client may exercise the rights the law grants them as applicable, including requesting information about the processing of their data, correcting inaccurate data, and requesting erasure, restriction of processing or data portability where those rights apply.

Some requests may be subject to legal exceptions, such as data that must be retained to meet a legal obligation, evidence a transaction, or handle a claim or dispute.

10. Requesting account and data deletion

A request to delete the account and data can be submitted via: support@almarji.ai

Once the request is verified, the team processes deletion of the data that can be deleted in accordance with the law and the state of the account.

There is currently no button that performs full deletion automatically from within the account.

A limited amount of data may be retained where necessary or permitted, such as billing, consent, transaction or dispute records.

11. Support correspondence

When a support request is sent, we process the information the Client puts in the request, together with the reference number, the time of receipt and the account identifier where available.

This information is used to handle the support request, complaint, or account or billing matter, and to keep an appropriate record of the request.

Support correspondence is not sold and is not used for marketing purposes or to train AI models.

Please do not send your password, full card number, CVV code or access keys in a support message.

12. Cookies

The Platform uses cookies necessary for login and session management (httpOnly), plus a language-preference cookie and what is technically required for the security of the service.

The Platform does not currently use advertising trackers.

13. Age

The service is intended for users aged 18 or over and is not aimed at creating accounts for minors.

14. Updates to this Privacy Policy

This policy may be updated when the service, the providers or regulatory requirements change.

The Client is notified of material changes where that is required or appropriate.
